EVA Pharma Inaugurates its New State-of-the-Art Dietary Supplement Facility “Limitless Naturals”

Cairo, Egypt 11th February - The activities of the national awareness campaign for lactose intolerance were launched this morning, with the participation of a select group of specialized doctors. The campaign is organized in collaboration between the Creative Digestive System Foundation for Training and Skills and Limitless Naturals, aiming to raise public awareness about the symptoms of this condition and how to manage them.
Dr. Ahmed Murad, Professor of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Hepatology at Cairo University, stated that patients suffering from a deficiency of the lactase enzyme in their bodies experience distressing symptoms such as chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, and indigestion. Many of them are unaware that they have a medical condition requiring medical intervention to support their health and improve their quality of life. This underscores the importance of the national awareness campaign for lactose intolerance.
During the press conference announcing the campaign today, Dr. Ahmed Murad added, "Lactose intolerance is a common condition that affects the quality of life for many, especially in the Arab region. Many patients suffer from symptoms like bloating, gas, and diarrhea after consuming dairy products without realizing that the cause is their inability to properly digest lactose." He continued, "This campaign comes at a crucial time to highlight the importance of early diagnosis and following a suitable dietary plan."
Dr. Ahmed Murad praised a local company’s recent launch of a medication to alleviate the distressing symptoms of this condition, which helps improve digestion and reduce the discomfort associated with dairy consumption. He added, "The local production of this medication is a significant step toward meeting patient demand and reducing reliance on imports, thereby saving foreign currency. We advise patients to take the medication before consuming dairy products, in the dosage prescribed by their treating physician."
For her part, Dr. Mona Hegazy, Professor of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Hepatology at Cairo University and Chair of the Scientific Council of the Egyptian Board of Therapeutic Nutrition, emphasized that awareness is the first step toward improving patients' lives. She stated, *"Through this campaign, we aim to educate the public about the symptoms that lactose-intolerant individuals may experience and how they can consume lactose-containing products without worry while maintaining the nutritional value of dairy and its products."
During the press conference, Dr. Mona Hegazy added, "We also advise patients to consult a doctor for an accurate diagnosis and to receive appropriate treatment, including the proper dosage of modern therapies if needed."
Dr. Abram Wagih, General Manager of Limitless Naturals, stated that the campaign aims to raise awareness about lactose intolerance symptoms, encourage early diagnosis, and promote suitable dietary plans. It also seeks to provide high-quality local treatment alternatives, such as the medication "Limitless Lactase," which helps improve patients' quality of life and reduces dependence on imported products.
It is worth noting that the new medication "Limitless Lactase" contains lactase enzyme at a concentration of 12,000 FCC, the highest concentration available in Egypt.
